Seguridad at MIFF, AIFF, and HOT Docs

I was so honoured to be asked to be a part of this project as the score composer. Tamara Segura is an artist who has courageously transformed tragedy into a beautiful piece of vulnerable Art with this documentary on her family story. FIlled with a fascinating insight into the Cuban revolution and family trauma she has woven imagery and poetry into a documentary film that reaches into the darkness to find a liberating truth. I was so happy it recieved it’s world premiere at the Miami Interantional Film Festival and it’s Canadian premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto this spring and again this fall at the Atlantic International Film Festival.
